Vessel Condition & Owner's Responsibilities

  • This estimate is based on the fact that the vessel is in a seaworthy condition and is equipped to the Master's satisfaction to make the proposed voyage in safety.
  • It is expected that the vessel is fully prepared to depart and stocked with fuel and water, and is equipped with the necessary equipment for the passage including basic spare parts such as oil, filters, impellers and a suitable tool kit.
  • In the rare event that pre-existing conditions make the vessel unsafe or unsanitary to live aboard prior to departure, accommodation is to be provided if the vessel is unsuitable.

    • Work & Lay Day Definitions

  • Work Day: A work day is defined as a day involved in either sailing or preparing for the passage. Days spent preparing for the passage are considered working days and are charged at the daily sailing rate.

  • Lay Day: A lay day is defined as a day spent waiting for weather or parts. Days spent waiting in port are charged at less than 50% of the working/sailing rate.

    • Important Notes

  • Sailing is not an exact science—delays can and do happen. The delivery is to be completed as quickly as reasonably can be expected without threatening the safety of the vessel or crew.
  • Delays due to adverse weather, breakages, or changing conditions can occur. Any extended delays will be charged at a per day rate.
  • This is an estimate and does not reflect the final price.

    • Payment Terms

    Deposit: 50% of total delivery cost plus flights, required minimum 14 days in advance.

    Balance: To be cleared on arrival at delivery destination on or before handover.


    This is a cost estimate. The final invoice is based on the actual number of days the crew is on board for the delivery—you are only charged for days on board. If the trip is completed in less time than estimated, your final cost will be lower.

    Please note: Any additional expenses that may arise during the delivery, such as fuel, port fees, or unforeseen circumstances, will be charged in advance.

    Travel & Flight Costs

    Every effort will be made to find the most economical method of arriving and departing from the yacht. All savings in bookings will be passed directly to the owner.

    The estimated cost of flights is for in 2-day before the departure as a best real world estimate. Flight prices are subject to change and can fluctuate significantly, especially closer to the travel date. This is out of our control and we do not profit from the cost of flights.

    In short, we can offer safe and prompt delivery of your boat.

    Passengers

    We have estimated for a delivery with only our team on board. Any changes to the delivery conditions—such as additional passengers or tuition—will require a new estimate to reflect the added responsibility.
