Prometa Banana 43 Yacht Delivery in Asia

The Prometa Banana 43 is a well-proven cruising catamaran designed for comfortable coastal and offshore passagemaking. While relatively uncommon compared with production catamarans from Lagoon or Leopard, the Banana 43 has developed a reputation as a capable and practical multihull for owners cruising throughout Southeast Asia.

Yacht Delivery Solutions is very familiar with Prometa catamarans, having delivered several examples throughout the region. Experience with the same builder allows us to become familiar with the layout, onboard systems and handling characteristics before departure, making passage planning and vessel preparation more efficient.

Delivering a catamaran in Asia presents a different set of challenges from many other cruising grounds. Busy commercial shipping, extensive fishing activity, seasonal monsoon weather and long island chains all require careful navigation and continuous passage planning. Every delivery is planned around the prevailing weather, local conditions and the owner’s requirements rather than working to a fixed schedule.

Before departure, the yacht is thoroughly inspected to ensure it is ready for the voyage ahead. Steering systems, engines, rigging, electrical systems and safety equipment are all checked, with passage plans adjusted as conditions develop throughout the delivery. Our objective is always to deliver the yacht safely while minimising unnecessary wear on both the vessel and its systems.
