Over the years we’ve relocated sailing yachts, catamarans, motor yachts and powerboats between many of the region’s major cruising centres, working with private owners, brokers, manufacturers and buyers who need experienced delivery skippers rather than simply extra crew.
Asia offers some of the most rewarding cruising grounds in the world, but it also presents challenges that make local experience invaluable. Every delivery is different. Some involve moving a newly purchased yacht from Singapore to Thailand, while others require an offshore passage from Hong Kong to Singapore or repositioning a yacht through Indonesia and Malaysia. Every route has its own weather patterns, commercial traffic, customs requirements and operational considerations.
At Yacht Delivery Solutions we don’t approach deliveries with a one-size-fits-all plan. Every yacht is assessed individually, taking into account the vessel, the owner’s priorities and the intended route. Before departure we inspect the yacht, review the onboard systems and prepare a passage plan designed to minimise unnecessary wear while maintaining safe and efficient progress. Throughout the voyage we continually monitor weather conditions and adjust our plans when required, keeping owners informed from departure through to arrival.
