We deliver Grand Banks in SE Asia. Thailand remains one of Asia’s most popular cruising destinations, attracting sailing yachts and motor yachts from across the region. Deliveries regularly take place between Phuket, Pattaya and international destinations throughout Southeast Asia.
The country’s location provides access to both the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand, making it a common destination for vessels relocating between cruising seasons.
Grand Banks motor yachts are often relocated under their own keel throughout Southeast Asia, where passage distances between major cruising centres are well suited to economical displacement cruising. Owners frequently move these vessels between Phuket, Langkawi, Penang, Singapore and Pattaya as their cruising plans evolve.
Unlike planing power boats, a Grand Banks delivery is typically planned around efficient daily run distances rather than speed. Maintaining a consistent cruising RPM reduces fuel consumption while providing flexibility when selecting overnight stops and refuelling locations along the route.
Many Grand Banks yachts operating in Asia are now established cruising boats rather than new deliveries. Before departure we pay particular attention to routine service items, fuel system condition and engine room inspections, as reliability over a multi-day coastal passage is generally more important than outright passage speed.
